Our artisans, our encounters
Behind every YEDART creation, there is a hand, a face, a workshop and a territory. In the villages and towns of the Middle Atlas, wool slips between the fingers, threads take on colour and wood slowly reveals its lines under the artisan's gesture. Each material has its rhythm, each workshop its language, each creation a story unlike any other. We go to meet women and men who work with patience, guided by an intimate knowledge of the material and by gestures transmitted, learned and reinvented over time. YEDART does not only select objects. We choose presences: a carpet whose motifs seem to hold the memory of a landscape, a cloth whose softness prolongs the warmth of the gesture, a sculpture whose curves still follow the movement of the tree. Through these portraits, we invite you into the intimacy of the workshops and to discover those who give a soul to YEDART creations.
